SJIRS believes that every human being is valuable and each student should be given the opportunity to work as a member of the international community.
SJIRS accepts primary responsibility for meeting the intellectual needs of the individual student. Teachers emphasise the mastery of academic materials through communication skills and maintain academic excellence.
SJIRS recognises its responsibility to work hand in hand with parents and relevant social agencies as appropriate to meet the social, emotional and academic needs of the students.
SJIRS recognises that effective teaching and learning can only be accompanied by continued development and maintenance of an outstanding teaching staff and an excellent curriculum.
SJIRS realises that change is a condition of life. It believes that one of its responsibilities is to provide each student with the tools and skills to adjust to change.
