Parents/Guardians seeking admission for their ward(s) should obtain the Application form for Registration and Prospectus against payment of Rs. 250/- by Cash / M 0 / DD drawn in favour of Saint John's Educational Trust, Chennai.

They can also be obtained by post by sending Rs. 275/-(inland), Rs. 350/-(Air Mail) by M O /DD drawn in favour of 'Saint John's Educational Trust', Chennai.

The set of applications and prospectus are issued or available only at the school office at the address given below and not in any other centres / agents or sister institutions of St. John's Group of Schools.

All completed application form for registration, together with the registration fee of Rs 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand only) and other documents / enclosures should reach the School Office within 20 days from the date of receiving the application or as per the stipulated date entered in the front page of the application form. (Application submitted beyond the stipulated date will remain invalid and a fresh application should be taken for registration.)

General Instructions for filling in the Application Form :

The following instructions should be strictly followed while filling the application form :
Application is to be signed only by the father of the boy. If father is not alive, the mother will sign as the guardian. In the case of mother signing the application, a certificate indicating that the father of the boy is not alive and that the mother of the boy is the guardian from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahzildar should be attached with the application.

If the mother is separated legally from her husband and if the boy is under the legal guardianship of the mother, documentary proof of the legal guardianship should be produced. An attested copy of the court judgement will have to be attached with the application.

Application form is not transferable. It can be used only by the candidate to whom it has been issued.

Full permanent address must be shown clearly.

The last date for receipt of application will be scrupulously followed. Postal delays will not be accepted under any circumstances. Parents are therefore advised to send the applications by Registered Post with acknowledgement due, well in advance so as to avoid postal delay.

The details given in the filled up application form should be absolutely correct in all respects. Any discrepancy and false information will render the application liable to be rejected.

Recently taken passport size photograph should firmly be stapled or affixed on the application form in the space provided for it. The extra 4 copies asked should also be submitted in an envelope pinned up with the application form.

Registered Candidates will be called for a Written Entrance Examination in English, Mathematics and Science.

Overseas candidates can also apply for Postal Entrance Examination.
